A man, haunted by the world's deadliest plane crash- involving the collision of two Boeing 747s on a foggy runway on the Island of Tenerife in 1977- struggles to understand his wife's disturbing behavior. Over decades, through investigating the crash while traveling to several countries, he is helped to decipher how his wife was tied to the crash, the reasons behind his unraveling marriage, and how to forge a new life for himself and his children. The Goblins of Tenerife is an exploration of cult trauma, religious indoctrination, sexuality, and how relationships thrive or whither where these intersect.
